Open Afternoon to Prepare for VE Day Celebrations

Do you want to see a Community Event happening in the village on the public holiday?

It is an opportunity to come together in order to celebrate our community and its heritage, to honour those who took part in the second world war and to remember our village’s relief at peace ‘breaking out’ in Europe seventy five years ago.

There will be an open afternoon at the Village Hall on Sunday March 1st, 2-4pm, when you are invited to have your say about what you would like to see happening in the village on May 8th. There will be tea and cake, and lots of boards on which to post your ideas and comments.
