Message received by the Parish Council from Michelle Tanfield, Community Engagement Manager
Dear Parish Cllrs,
Following previous emails regarding the upcoming Gigaclear full-fibre rollout in your community (all above communities included in the build area), I am writing to advise that initial works will be commencing over the course of the coming weeks. All residents in the entire build area will be receiving the attached letter, detailing about the works, Project Gigabit, and also how they are able to contact us. Following receiving this letter, if residents register for updates on our website, we will email them periodic build updates with permit information as and when we receive this. Individual residents will also receive a letter from our contractors within 5 days of any works starting in their particular road, and again detailing how they can contact our contractor or Gigaclear should they have any queries.
We will send more specific details of works once known and we will also arrange a community meeting around the build start time, whereby we invite all residents from the above communities to listen to a presentation about the project, but also so we can run a question and answer session, so we can address any queries residents may have.
