Message received from OUH (NHS) Bereavement Services at Katharine House Hospice.
We are currently recruiting for Bereavement Volunteers. We are asking as many people and organisations as possible to support the recruitment of new volunteers for Katharine House Hospices.
Since the end of covid there has been a steady increase in demand for bereavement support in your area. For this reason, we are pro-actively recruiting, to ensure that the service remains effective in supporting your community.
All volunteers go through a thorough training and selection process, which means they will become active in your community early 2025. We cannot express how important it is to have a good response to our plight over the next 2 months for volunteers.
This campaign is at present my highest priority, so prompt responses will be appreciated and my replies to any questions will be equally efficient, as I am sure, the deadlines for Sept publications are very soon.
