Message from the Management Support Officer at Cherwell District Council:
Are you a culinary genius? A master at re-purposing leftovers to make tasty treats and reduce food waste? Well, we want to hear from you! We are running a 7 Recipes for 7 Days competition where we are looking for the best leftover recipes from the district to put onto our website.
We’d love to see what recipe ideas you have to offer. All you have to do is email us your favourite recipes that use ingredients which would otherwise be thrown away. We’re thinking sweet treats, soups, sauces, curries and stews. So, get creative and send us your recipes to our competition email, recycling@cherwell-dc.gov.uk by midnight on Sunday 25 February.Winning entries will have their recipe and name included in a booklet that will be handed out at events and displayed at some of our information centres.
So, why not get involved and send us your recipes and help to reduce food waste in the district. Please note that the competition is only open to residents within the Cherwell District.
