A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped out to make Hethe’s Coronation Big Lunch such a lovely event on Sunday 7th May. We are all very grateful for the wonderful weather too.
A special thank you to Gary Skinner for the photos and being in charge of erecting the tents!
Thought you would like to know that with the donation from the boys who ran the sweet stall and the donations for teas, I am going to be able to donate £30 to Bicester Food Bank. That seemed appropriate to me as we all had so much wonderful food to share.
Not forgetting a big thank you to Jean for organising the event.
Councillor Jean Ramsey has been busy planning for our village celebration for the King’s Coronation. She has consulted with as many people as she can and this is the story so far…she is always open to suggestions and offers of help!
We plan to have a Coronation Big Lunch on Sunday, 7th May
- This time we want to make use of the Village Hall and the playing field.
- We want to emphasise the greenness (reuse, recycle) of the project by getting away from single use plastic decorations etc. We would like participants to bring their own cutlery and plates from home but if anyone forgets there are plenty of supplies in the Village Hall.
