Message received 5 January from Cherwell District Council:
Due to unforeseen staffing issues, we have taken the decision to suspend all brown bin collections in the south of the district this week. This affects Bicester, Kidlington and the surrounding villages. We apologise for this inconvenience and ask all residents to keep their garden and food waste in their bins for collections week commencing 18 January. We are aware of all of the properties affected, so you do not need to log your bin collections as missed.
