Advice from the District Council
Please find attached a press release issued on Tuesday re the new discretionary business grants. They are designed to help those smaller businesses that have not been able to access previous support grants, perhaps because they are too small, rent a bit of space on a farm etc and don’t pay business rates. Please do publicise this locally and to any businesses (or community groups such as toddler clubs etc). There is a link in the release to more information.
As you will see it is time limited for applications, so do make sure they get their application in before the closing date.
