The village “Spring Clean” will now take place some time over the period 11 to 27 September.
There will be cotton gloves, Hi Vis vests and ‘litter pickers’ for the first six who would like them. There will be enough rubbish and recycling bags too. The plan is to meet at Montague Farm on the Green where the items are being delivered, then to collect litter and deposit your full bag at the Village Hall for collection the following day.
The “Great British Spring Clean” is organised by Keep Britain Tidy and is to take place between 20 March and 13 April.
