Thank you to Andrew, Linda and David Cotton, Daniel Pritchard and John and Sue Schutz who took part in the 2019 Ride & Stride by cycling or walking around local churches. They raised much needed funds which were shared equally between the Oxford Historic Churches Trust and St Edmund & St George Church. Thank you also to everyone who helped in the church on the day.

Looking back to September 14th, a lovely summer day and the Ride & Stride.
We had six riders and striders : Daniel cycled and visited nine churches,
John and Sue walked across the fields and gathered some juicy blackberries
at the same time, while Andrew, Linda and David walked for miles!

Church Ride+Stride is a sponsored bike ride or walk in which people all over England walk or cycle between churches, exploring and enjoying the countryside from Cornwall to Northumberland.
The money they raise helps to save historic churches, chapels and meeting houses for future generations by helping to fund urgent repairs and the installation of modern facilities. Each year the event raises over £1 million pounds to help fund urgent repairs to historic churches and chapels.
