Thanks to a mega fund raising effort this year by many villagers (particularly Hamish and Mary, Ben and Becks and Marak and Steve) St Edmund & St George Church is now on a sounder footing financially. Thank you to everyone who contributed and attended the events and all of those who are contributing regularly through Parish Giving and the 100 Club.

The campaign to promote the regular giving of planned small donations to St Edmund & St George church is ongoing, and it is this source of income which will secure the building’s future for Christian worship and for community events. If you have a Parish Giving form languishing in your home in-tray, please dig it out and complete it – every little bit helps to keep the church open for you and for future generations.
We still have many challenges ahead this year, including the five yearly inspection of the church by an architect and repairs to the porch. We are seeking grants to help pay for the latter but if you wish to contribute specifically for this work please let us know – hethepccsecretary@outlook.com.
