We’re pleased to introduce Carers Phone Friends, a new service from Carers Oxfordshire offering regular, friendly phone calls to unpaid carers across Oxfordshire.
Caring for a loved one can be deeply rewarding, but it can also be isolating. Many carers tell us they often feel cut off from the community or struggle to find time for themselves. Carers Phone Friends aims to change that by connecting unpaid carers with trained volunteers who understand the challenges of caring.
We’re now inviting professionals and community organisations across Oxfordshire to help us raise awareness of this new service.
By sharing information with carers you support, displaying materials or promoting the service through your networks, you can help ensure carers know this service is available.
Equally, if you, or anyone within your network would be interested in volunteering, we’d be delighted to hear from you. All volunteers will receive full training and ongoing support from our friendly team.
For more information about Carers Phone Friends, please visit our website or call 01295 234 850. Thank you for helping us raise awareness of this service and supporting unpaid carers across Oxfordshire.
