This is formal notice as required by the Charity Commission that the following resolution has been agreed by Members and Trustees of the charity:
That the charity be dissolved, and all of its assets distributed to other charities in accordance with the Constitution for the Charity.
This is mainly due to the low returns and shortage of volunteers to help in organising, setting up and running past events. All debts and other liabilities of the charity have been settled. Assets from past years which were retained for the use of the charity in future events have been gifted to local village organisations. One of the Trustees aims in holding festivals has been to raise money for the community, therefore the following distribution of cash assets has been agreed:
• Shelswell Benefice Churches £1,122.72
• Bicester Food Bank £1,122.72
• Oxfordshire Mind £1,122.72
The Charity Commission have been informed and you have three months to raise any representations with them.
